How to respond?

I’m sure there are many people who have had this experience. It seems like it happens quite often when I go to church functions from a church group other than my own. There are often messages that are taught that seem to be so hopeless and lifeless. I deeply believe that God created the earth and called it very good. It makes me sad when life is taught to be a preparation for going somewhere else, but nothing is mentioned about God restoring all things. Recently, I even heard a song that said something to the effect of going somewhere else so that all things will be renewed…

Huh? 

How can something brand new be made new. God will renew all things. I want to life my life in preparation of all things being put back together. I really cannot imagine something more beautiful than a loving God renewing all things that he has made.
